In short

Inferno Construction supplies and installs cabinets and countertops across St. George and Southern Utah, including custom and semi-custom cabinetry, refacing, quartz and granite tops, islands and peninsulas, and matching bath vanities. We template, fabricate, and install, so the fit and the finish are on one crew.

Why Inferno

Cabinets are carpentry, not just a delivery

Cabinets get sold like a product and installed like an afterthought. The boxes arrive, somebody screws them to a wall, and every problem in the room shows up in the reveal lines. Doors that do not sit flush, a run that drifts away from the ceiling, a filler strip cut to hide a wall that was never straight. Houses are not square, and cabinetry is the thing that proves it.

We treat the install as carpentry. Walls and floors get checked for level and plumb before anything is hung, boxes get shimmed and scribed to the actual room, and fillers get planned in the layout rather than improvised at the end. That is the difference between a kitchen that looks built in and one that looks delivered.

Countertops are the other half. We template after the cabinets are set, not before, because a template taken off a drawing is a template taken off a guess. Seams get placed where they are least visible and best supported, overhangs get proper substrate, and the sink and cooktop cutouts get confirmed against the actual appliances before anything is cut.

What's included

From box to finished surface

Cabinets and tops touch carpentry, plumbing, and electrical all at once. We handle the whole sequence so the fit, the seams, and the hookups all land on one crew.

Custom cabinetry

Built to your room and your storage, for kitchens that are not a standard rectangle or need a specific height.

Semi-custom lines

Quality manufactured cabinets in your door style and finish, with modifications where the room needs them.

Refacing

New doors, drawer fronts, and veneer over solid existing boxes. The right call when the carcasses are still sound.

Quartz countertops

The workhorse here. Non-porous, so hard water and citrus do not etch it the way they attack some natural stone.

Granite & natural stone

Templated, fabricated, and sealed, with slab selection so you see the actual piece going into your house.

Islands & peninsulas

Seating overhangs with proper support, plus power and plumbing run inside where the code requires it.

Hardware & organization

Soft-close hinges and glides, pull-outs, trash drawers, spice and tray dividers, and pulls that match the room.

Bath vanities

Matching or complementary vanities and tops so the bathrooms read as part of the same remodel.

They were fast and efficient and delightful to work with. I have never had such a good experience with a contractor. Never. He was here when promised and finished before he promised.

Questions

Cabinet and countertop FAQs

Should I reface my cabinets or replace them?

It comes down to the boxes. If the carcasses are solid and the layout already works, refacing gets you a new look for less disruption. If the boxes are failing, the layout fights you, or you want different sizes or heights, replacing is the better spend. We look inside them during the walkthrough and tell you which one your kitchen is.

Quartz or granite in Southern Utah?

Quartz for most kitchens here. It is non-porous, so it does not need sealing and shrugs off the hard water and citrus that etch some natural stone. Granite is still a great top and every slab is unique, it just wants sealing and a bit more care. We will show you both and be straight about the upkeep.

How long do cabinets take to arrive?

Semi-custom lines usually run a few weeks and fully custom runs longer, and both can move with the market. We order as soon as selections are locked so the lead time overlaps the demo and prep instead of adding to the end of the job.

Can you match cabinets to what I already have?

Sometimes closely, rarely perfectly. Finishes shift between production runs and existing cabinets have aged and faded in place. For an addition or a partial remodel we are honest about how close a match will get, and often suggest a deliberate contrast instead of a near-miss.

Do you handle the sink, faucet, and cooktop hookups?

Yes. Cutouts are confirmed against your actual appliances and fixtures, and the plumbing and electrical reconnects are part of the job. You are not left holding a finished counter and an unhooked sink.
